A pair of Southeast Iowa Super Conference soccer teams came up short yesterday. The WACO Warriors surrendered just one goal to Mediapolis, but being shut out kept the Warriors from a third straight win. WACO is 2-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play. The Warriors will next face Burlington Notre Dame on Monday.

The Highland Huskies were only down a goal at halftime at Central Lee yesterday, but the Hawks would keep the Huskies at bay and add on for a 4-0 victory. Highland is still searching for their first win as they prepare to host Columbus Monday.
