Residents of Keota looking to declutter this spring are encouraged to participate in the city-wide cleanup this week. Cleanup days are Friday, April 21 from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Curbside pick-up will not be available, rather items must be brought to the dumpsters located by the Keota Water Tower during these times. There will be a metal dumpster as well as a garbage dumpster. Prohibited items include appliances, televisions, computer monitors, yard waste, tires, liquids, and bricks.

Items that are too large to fit in the dumpsters will require stickers, and can be left at the curb for regular pick-up. Stickers, as well as a full list of items and prices are available at the Keota City Hall. For more information, call 641-636-2266.
