The Keota Eagles continued their stellar play on the golf course by defeating conference rival BGM yesterday at Lagos Acres Golf Course in Keota. The Eagles’ team score of 182 was 13 strokes better than the Bears, thanks to every Keota player shooting less than 55. Junior Cole Kindred led the Eagles with a six-over-par 42, while classmate Sawyer Stout was only two strokes behind him. Sophomore Billie Kindred fired a 46 and senior Aidan Anderson shot 50, while senior Carsin Kindred’s 51 and junior Tanner Waterhouse’s 53 rounded out the Eagles’ scorecard. Keota is right back to work in the South Iowa Cedar League later today when they visit Belle Plaine.
