After Iowa 4-H revamped the non-livestock project quota system, Washington County 4-H has earned 11 more spots at the Iowa State Fair to showcase its member’s non-livestock projects. These edits were made taking into consideration program enrollment and project area numbers of prior years. Each year the Washington County Fair awards just over 500 special awards and recognitions. A variety of individuals, families, or businesses contribute to all of these. This increase in project spots has created a need for 11 more state fair award plaque sponsors.
