The City of Crawfordsville is hosting their annual spring cleanup day on Monday, April 24. Residents are asked to put any items they want picked up on the curb by 7 a.m.
Acceptable items include household debris and wood. Debris should be bagged and cannot exceed 100 pounds. Any wood put out for pickup must be bundled. Paint cans must be emptied and dried out.
Prohibited items for the cleanup day include oil, burn barrels, yard waste, hazardous waste, concrete, bricks, plaster, and tires. Appliances will be picked up, but carry a $15 fee. Stickers may be purchased from the city clerk. With questions about the Crawfordsville cleanup day, call 319-461-5533.
