The Washington High School Drama Department will be performing their spring production of Cinderella this weekend. KCII spoke with Brett Pierson, the musical director for this show, about what the audience can expect. “As is obvious, Ella’s name is Ella and not Cinderella. Tofer is prince; there is no King and Queen in this version. One of the step-sisters isn’t as evil in this version as the original version, so just a little bit different. The music is completely different. It will be nothing like you know from Disney, but really catchy tunes all the way around.” The doors will open at 7 pm, with the show beginning at 7:30 tonight, with a matinee performance on Sunday beginning at 2:30. Tickets are five dollars for students and ten dollars for adults.
