The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls soccer teams welcome the Tipton Tigers to Wellman Monday for a River Valley Conference doubleheader. The Mid-Prairie boys are back to .500 on the year at 4-4, following a 5-1 win at Anamosa Friday where senior Owen Trimpe led the way with four goals, Tucker Miller added one and Drake Price and Daniel Rodgers each had one assist. On the season, Mid-Prairie has been outscored 27-19 in total. Individual leaders include Trimpe with six goals and Miller with three assists. In goal, Joe Hall has 21 saves. Tipton is 2-5 this year. They dropped a contest Friday at Prince of Peace 3-2. For the year the Tigers have outscored their opponents 17-15. Individual leaders include Cooper Breve with seven goals and Miles Christian with four assists. Zach Binns has 51 saves in goal. The Hawks have beaten the Tigers in both of their all-time matchups including 8-1 and 1-0 scores.

The Mid-Prairie girls are 5-3 after a tough 5-4 loss late at Anamosa Friday. For the year, The Hawks have outscored their opponents 27-19. Individually, Sophia Baker has a team best seven goals, Kina Miller leads the way with five assists and 47 saves. Tipton is 4-2 this season, They have outscored their opponents 20-15 on the year. Carly Langenberg has 11 of those goals and Avary Calonder four assists. Emma Hartman has 59 saves in goal. Mid-Prairie has won both meetings between the two schools by 6-1 and 5-4 scores. Action in the doubleheader starts at 5p.m. tonight in Wellman.
