The Hillcrest Academy boys golf team will enjoy homecooking for the first time this year when they welcome Wapello to the Kalona Golf Course. The Ravens are 4-0 this season after taking down Louisa-Muscatine at Cedarcrest Thursday 174-201. Luke Schrock was medalist with a 41. For the year, Hillcrest has a nine hole average of 179, with Luke Schrock’s individual 42 best on the team. Wapello is 16-2 this year after beating Central Lee and Highland Thursday at Heritage Oaks behind a 179 team score with Cooper Garrison’s 39 the top round. On the season, the Indians have a 190 team average led by Garrison’s 41. The Ravens beat the Indians at Blue Top Ridge to start the season 179 to 184. Action starts tonight at 4p.m. at the Kalona Golf Course.
