Three individuals from Wayland have been charged following an ongoing investigation into several complaints of theft. Last Friday, at approximately 7:30 a.m. the Henry County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 300 block of West Easy Street and the 1000 grid of 110th street in Wayland.
As a result of the investigation, 48-year-old Curtis Wagler, 49-year-old Lori Wagler, and 20-year-old Owen Wagler, all of Wayland, were arrested and each charged with one count of ongoing criminal conduct, a class B felony, four counts of theft in the first degree, a class C felony, and five counts of theft in the second degree, a class D felony. The three were taken to the Henry County Jail and held, pending an initial court appearance. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, May 11.
