United States Senator, Joni Ernst, announced Monday that her office will be holding traveling office hours in each of Iowa’s 99 counties during the month of May.

Iowans will be able to speak with representatives from the Senator’s office about problems or questions regarding Social Security, veterans’ benefits, military affairs, passports, immigration issues, and other federal programs.

The first opportunity for area residents will be in Iowa County at the Marengo Public Library. Those office hours take place on Monday, May 8 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Representatives will be in Henry, Jefferson, and Johnson Counties on Thursday, May 11. They will be at Mount Pleasant City Hall from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Fairfield City Hall from 10:15-11:15 a.m., and the Coralville Public Library from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 17 will see the office hours come to Washington, Keokuk, and Louisa Counties. They will be held at Sigourney City Hall from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., the Washington Public Library from 1:30-2:30 p.m., and the Columbus Junction Library from 3:15-4:15 p.m.
