A pair of KCII area boys golf teams took the course for the West Liberty Invitational Tuesday. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were fifth in the 12 team field with their season best 18 hole score of 350. Top card for the Hawks belonged to Drew Schlabaugh with a career best round of 82 for 12th place out of 71. Other Mid-Prairie scores included a new personal best 83 for Aiden Bush, Warren Scarff at 91, Bryce Henry 94, Alex Bean 96 and Clayton Davidson 97.

Winfield-Mt. Union was ninth with a 373. Carter Loyd led the way with an 83 for 14th place. Other cards for the Wolves included Andrew Brown 93, Max Edwards 98, Nicholas Sparrow 99, Jake Edwards 103 and Grant Anderson 117.

Both teams are in action Thursday when Mid-Prairie hosts Louisa-Muscatine and WMU takes on Hillcrest Academy in Winfield.
