The Sigourney Savages had another strong showing on their home golf course Monday against North Mahaska. The Sigourney boys won the team competition with a team score of 170, 15 strokes better than North Mahaska. Savage senior Clay Morse was a medalist again, this time with five-over-par 41, while freshman teammate Solon Yates was only a stroke behind as the runner-up.

Sophomore Issac Bruns was fourth with a 43, while junior Brock Alderson fired a 44 and sophomore Cain Weber and freshman Josh Wyatt each shot 47. The Sigourney girls were led by a 52 from junior Emma Hammes, while senior Zoe Webb added a 54 and junior Krista Sellers posted a season-best 58. The Savages hit the links again Thursday when they host BGM.
