The links will be busy around southeast Iowa Thursday with meets in Winfield and Kalona. In an all-KCII area Southeast Iowa Superconference dual, Hillcrest Academy hits the road for Twin Lakes Country Club and the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves. The Ravens are 7-0 this year and flying high after sweeping a Tuesday triangular at English Valleys where they shot a team 156 led by an even par 36 from freshman Rowan Miller. For the year, Hillcrest has a team average at 173 per nine holes with brothers Luke and Liam Schrock tied at a team best 42. WMU was ninth at the West Liberty Invite Tuesday with a team score 373 led by Carter Loyd at 83 for 14th. This season the Wolves average 187 as a team per nine with Loyd’s 42 the best. Last May the Wolves slipped by the Ravens 190-199.

The Mid-Prairie boys and girls are both in Kalona tonight to face Louisa-Muscatine. The Golden Hawk girls were a 193-226 winner over Wilton Monday in Kalona with Madi Davidson shooting a medalist 46 and Kylie Reinier a medalist runner-up 47. On the season, the Hawks nine-hole average is 198 led by Gabi Robertson at 46. L-M last played at the Wapello Invite April 19th where they were fourth with an 18-hole score of 438, led by Madison Bieri’s 100. They have a 242 team average per nine led by Bieri at 49. The Golden Hawk boys were fifth at the West Liberty 18-hole tourney Tuesday with a 350, led by Drew Schlabaugh’s career best 82 for 12th. This season, Mid-Prairie has a 173 average each nine with Schlabaugh’s 42 best on the team. The Falcons topped Lone Tree in a dual at Cedarcrest Monday 184-212 led by Xander Beiri’s medalist round of 41. For the season they average 195 as a team per nine with Bieri’s 42 best. The Mid-Prairie boys finished higher than the Falcons at their Golden Hawk Invitational earlier this month.
