The Washington High School Band will be performing its last formal concert of the year this evening. The concert will begin at 7 pm and is being held in the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center. KCII was able to speak to Washington High School senior Bailey Rees, who will be participating, about what kind of music to expect at the concert ‘It’s kind of just whatever our director Don Hughes decides, and seems like whatever he thinks fits with our band this year, which I think we have a lot of talented players, we’ve all worked really hard, so, I know that we have some more difficult songs.” The next performance of the Washington High School Band will be at the Tulip Parade in Pella on Friday, May 5th.
