Two KCII area golf teams met Thursday at Twin Lakes Country Club in Winfield with the Hillcrest Academy Ravens beating the home Wolves in a boys Southeast Iowa Superconference golf dual. The Ravens took the win by a 164-173 margin. Senior Luke Schrock set a new personal best with a one-under-par 35, on a round that included three birdies to earn medalist honors. Other Hillcrest scores included Jace Rempel 41, the trio of Liam Schrock, Rowan Miller and Seth Ours at 44 with Josiah Beachy 52.

Top card for the Wolves came from medalist runner-up Carter Loyd with his 38. Other WMU scores included Andrew Brown 42, Nick Sparrow 45, Jake Edwards 48, Max Edwards 60 and Grant Anderson 76.

The Ravens are 8-0 this season. WMU is 14-14. Hillcrest meets Columbus Monday, The Wolves are off until Wednesday’s Superconference meet at Heritage Oaks.
