PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington is bringing back its Lemonade Squad for 2023. KCII spoke with PAWS and More Development Chair Terri Wood to get more information, “So this is the second year that we will be doing the lemonade squad, and we noticed over the years that sometimes kids would have lemonade stands for us and donate the proceeds to PAWS and More. And so we kind of made a program where more kids could do that and be aware of that. We now have a kit that we’ve put together and a little bit of signage that you can have on your table to let your friends and family and the people who stop by know that the proceeds are being donated to PAWS and More.”  Lemonade kits can be picked up from the shelter in May, at the end of the summer season will be the awards portion of the fundraiser.
