The Washington City Council approved special event requests at their Tuesday meeting. Main Street Washington will be hosting their Movies on Main events this summer, to be held the first Friday of June, July, and August, with one more movie in October. The American Legion Post 29 will be holding its Memorial Day Observance in Central Park on May 29th. If there is rain that day the event will be held in the Washington High School gym.
