The Washington Public Library is holding its next Washington Writers Workshop on Saturday, May 6th. This workshop will feature a presentation by Fiction writer James Braun. Braun’s work has appeared in Fiction International, DIAGRAM, Bayou Magazine, Minnesota Review, and elsewhere. Braun is currently a first-year fiction candidate at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Braun will give a presentation the first hour of the workshop, and then submissions of all genres will be workshopped the second hour. This workshop is from 10 AM to 12 PM and is open to adults and teens interested in developing their writing skills. The phrase used for these workshops is building a community of writers.
