The final postseason tune-up is tonight for the Hillcrest Academy Raven and Lone Tree Lion boys golf teams in Kalona. The Raven boys are red-hot, standing at 27-0 on the season. They won their first ever Southeast Iowa Superconference Championship on Wednesday with a 322 and followed that with a season low 316 over 18-holes Saturday in Donnellson, to claim the Central Lee Invitational, behind a three-over-par 75 from freshman Rowan Miller for the individual title. This year, Hillcrest has a 192 average per nine holes with Luke’s Schrock’s 46 best on the team. Lone Tree is 4-28 this year. The Lions were 12th of 14 schools at the conference meet in Wapello a week ago. Olver Altenhofen checked in at an even 100 to lead Lone Tree. Last year this dual went Lone Tree’s way 200-233. Action starts tonight at 4p.m. at the Kalona Golf Course.
