The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls soccer teams will try to send their seniors off with wins Friday when they welcome Bellevue to Wellman for Senior Night matches. The Mid-Prairie boys are 8-6 after a 3-2 come-from-behind win at Cascade Monday behind a hat trick from Owen Trimpe, two assists for Tucker Miller and seven saves from Jacob Flynn. This year the Hawks have been outscored 46-40 and posted one defensive shut out. Individual leaders include Trimpe with 17 goals, Miller with seven assists and Flynn’s 35 saves. Bellevue is 4-7 this year, having lost to Tipton Monday 4-1. The Comets have been outscored 49-17 this season. Individual leaders are Spencer Abbott with four goals, Ben Meyer, Aden Schmidt and Logan Kloser all with three assists and Brody Recker 100 saves.

The Mid-Prairie girls were 9-5 following a Monday win at Northeast Goose Lake 2-1 where Amara Jones scored twice, Sophie Baker and Elise Gingerich each had an assist and Kina Miller stopped 10 shots. This year, Mid-Prairie has outscored their opponents 41-28 with six defensive shut outs. Jones and Baker are tied for the team lead with eight goals, Gingerich and Miller each have five assists and Miller 91 saves. Bellevue is 4-7 after a 7-5 loss at Tipton Monday. They have been outscored this season 37-36 with two defensive shut outs. Individual leaders are Adessa Leibfried with 11 goals, Kalesia DeShaw with six assists and Olivia Carter 116 saves.

The Golden Hawk boys will honor seniors Owen Trimpe, Noah Ford, Koby Karnes, Ryan Beatty, Evan Phillips and Andrew Stultz with the Mid-Prairie girls honoring seniors Kina Miller, Amara Jones, Sophia Baker, Paityn Jennings and Allison Bolanos in a ceremony on the field tonight. Action begins in this doubleheader with the girls game at 5p.m. in Wellman.
