Wildcat seniors are set to receive their diplomas one week from today as the Columbus High School Graduation Ceremony will be held in the gymnasium on Sunday, May 21.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m., with the ceremony beginning at 2. Families and friends in attendance are reminded that balloons will not be allowed inside the gym.

The ceremony will include performances by both the band and choir and speeches from the valedictorian and salutatorian. This year’s distinguished graduate and primary speaker is Sam Carrell, Columbus graduate in 1979.

This is a celebration of the hard work put in by the class of 2023. The group’s class color is periwinkle, their class flower is the red rose, and their class motto is “everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”
