The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a new animal confinement site in Washington County on Tuesday. Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. made the motion, “Once again, as it’s in my district, I will take the opportunity to make the motion to acknowledge the confinement feeding operation for Prairie Pork, Inc. I’ll just mention that I think that it’s proposed by Matt Gent and his family, they are, there are some good folks up there in that territory.” The confinement feeding operation is for Prairie Pork, Inc, and will be located in Cedar Township. The main site for Prairie Pork is located in Wellman.
