WMU graduation will be held in the gymnasium, and features performances by the high school choir and band. Family and friends in attendance will hear from Valedictorian Melina Oepping and Salutatorian Isabel Kann. This year’s commencement speaker is social studies teacher, Matthew Sheyko.

The Winfield-Mt. Union seniors’ class colors are white and wisteria, and their class flower is the hydrangea. They are one of six area schools celebrating the class of ’23 this weekend, joining WACO, Sigourney, Columbus, Highland, and Keota.
