The final bell will sound for several area schools this week, beginning with WACO, Keota, and Sigourney.

WACO students will be the first to close out the school year today at 3:45 p.m. They are followed by Keota and Sigourney tomorrow, when students are dismissed at 11 a.m.

While this signals the beginning of summer for a majority of students in these districts, their seniors finished their high school careers over the weekend. WACO and Sigourney celebrated graduation on Saturday, while Keota sent off the class of ’23 on Sunday.
