Highland, Winfield-Mt. Union, and Columbus join a list of area schools closing their doors for the summer this week. The last day of classes for the three districts is Friday, May 26.

Columbus and WMU kick off summer break first, dismissing students at 1 p.m. Shortly after, the bell rings for Highland at 2.

While the school year comes to a close for a majority of students in these districts, Husky, Wolf, and Wildcat seniors saw the culmination of their high school careers last Sunday with their respective graduation ceremonies.
