marr-park-3

Parents will have the opportunity to spend some time outside with their toddlers this week as the Washington County Conservation Board is hosting a program at Marr Park to encourage children to start seeing and appreciating nature at a young age. Join Toddler Time tomorrow at 9:30 am. This month, the class will be learning all about how wildlife use camouflage to blend into their environments. A book on animal camouflage will be read to the class, and each toddler will go home with their own camouflage coloring packet. The class will go on a short hike to check out all the improvements to the Naturescape. The hour-long session is geared toward kids three years old and younger while accompanied by an adult.
