The Keota Eagles knocked off New London in baseball last night 12-2 in six innings. The game was tied at two for four-and-a-half-innings until the Eagles exploded for nine runs in the bottom of the fifth to seize control.

As part of the offensive outburst, junior Cole Kindred had three hits and three runs batted in for Keota. Junior Aiden McGuire added two hits, including a double, and three runs driven in, while senior Caleb Waterhouse also doubled and finished with three RBI.

Eagle junior Tanner Waterhouse earned the victory on the mound by pitching all six innings and yielding just one hit.
