The Washington Public Library and Hills Bank present Armchair Adventures, the Marshall Islands. Tuesday, June 6th at 2 pm at Hills Bank. Julie Zahs will take you on a trip to the Marshall Islands from 1972 to 1973 when she spent two years serving in the Peace Corps working as a teacher in the remote outer islands. She will give a presentation on the many items that she brought back with her from the islands. Zahs presentation will include photos and stories about her experiences during those two years. This event is free and open to the public.
