The second stop on the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour was the Washington Summer Classic this weekend. The Big Red Radio was downtown broadcasting live from the Washington Square on Friday from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday from 1 to 6 pm. Friday was Family Day, and there were many activities for the family to join in on. Saturday was Agriculture and Ridiculous Day, and the kids enjoyed the kiddie tractor pull before seeing the antique tractor parade come downtown. All weekend long, downtown retailers had ridiculous sidewalk sales. The KCII Summer Town Tour is just beginning. The next stops on the tour include 150th Keota Fun Days, June 8-11; Kalona Days, June 16-17; Brighton Whoopee Days- June 16- 17 and Riverside TrekFest- June 23-24.
