Join the Washington LQBTQ+ Community for tomorrow’s fourth annual Rainbow Walk at 1 pm in Sunset Park. During the walk, paint will be tossed in the air to cover the walkers in a rainbow of color. After the walk, there is a water balloon fight. KCII spoke with event coordinator Whitney Gray about what can be expected during the event, “We walk around Sunset Park, and we get covered in paint, so most people wear white because our clothes get all stained. Then we have a massive water balloon fight to clean each other off, this year we are having fifteen hundred water balloons.” There is a pet parade to follow the rainbow parade with prizes for winners. The winners include best dressed, crowd favorite, and judges choice. This event is sponsored by Gray Canine LLC and Washington For Justice.
