Washington Public Health, in partnership with Washington County Hospital and Clinics, is looking for feedback from all Washington County residents. Every five years, Washington County conducts a Community Health Assessment to discover how best to serve the Communities of Washington County. Washington County Public Health Administrator Emily Tokheim explains the importance of the survey, “A Community Health Assessment can give organizations a comprehensive look at their community, their current health needs, their issues, health status amongst the community. And then in turn, that information is all gathered and we develop a community health improvement plan that will inform the work we do the next five years.” There is a link to the survey with this news story at KCIIradio.com. You can also find paper copies of the survey at Washington County Public Health located at 110 N. Iowa Ave Suite 300 in Washington.
