Sigourney Savage baseball knocked off HLV 9-5 Monday evening. Junior Jake Moore led the Savage lineup with three hits, two runs scored and two runs batted in. Junior Reid Molyneux had a two-hit game, while senior Max Phillips and sophomore Caden Clarahan had two RBI each. Moore pitched the first six-and-a-third innings and gave up no runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five. The win moved Sigourney to 10-4.

The Lone Tree Lions could not say the same, falling 10-0 in five innings Monday at Burlington Notre Dame. Senior Drew Gauley and sophomore Maddox Jondle had the only hits for Lone Tree, but the Lions still fell to 1-9.
