On June 6th, at approximately 5:26 p.m. Washington Police Officers were dispatched to 604 South Avenue B in reference to a former boyfriend trying to break into the residence. Prior to arrival, the individual left the scene. Aaron McGuire, 34, of Washington, was caught on video punching the camera so the camera cannot record the area in front of the door. You can hear him screaming at the individuals inside the residence and hear a loud crash as he kicks the door, and threatens those inside the house. On June 7th, Officers called McGuire, who admitted to being at the residence. McGuire was charged with attempted burglary in the second degree, a Class D Felony. Bail was set at $5,000, and McGuire posted bond.
