The KCII Big Red Radio was at Brighton Whoopee Days Saturday for a stop in the Summer Town Tour. We broadcasted live from 7:30 to 11 am announcing the Whoopee Day Parade and other activities. The parade featured Brighton Veterans as the Grand Marshals, as well as the American Legion Post 504 Honor Guard of Richland. Competitions, food, and live music offered something for guests of all ages Saturday in Brighton for the 113th Whoopee Day Celebration. The KCII Big Red Radio then headed to Kalona for its Kalona Days stop on the Summer Town Tour. We broadcasted live from 2 to 6 pm, announcing the parade at 4 pm and other activities throughout the day. The next stop on the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour will be Riverside Trek Fest on June 24th. The one to count on to take you where the action is AM and FM KCII.
