The Hillcrest Academy Raven softball team took on Holy Trinity Catholic Monday at the Plaster Athletic Complex on the campus of Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids. The Ravens fell by a 9-0 score. Hillcrest struggled to get things going at the plate, getting one single each from Erin Bontrager and Lydia Beachy. In the circle, Malia Yoder struck out 11, but the Ravens had a tough night in the field, committing five errors. Hillcrest is 6-12 after the loss and gets ready for Central Lee tonight.
