Enjoy Kids Day at the 2023 Washington County Fair on Wednesday, July 19. This event is hosted by Washington County Extension and Outreach and with fair day sponsor Washington County Hospitals & Clinics. Other partnership sponsors include Farm Bureau Financial Services- Ann C. Williams Agency, Washington Lions Club, Washington County Public Health, and Family Connection. Participants may come and go to the following activity stations anytime throughout the morning until 11 a.m.: Popcorn is provided, courtesy of the Washington Lions Club. Join the Horse and Pony Club for games at the Horse Barn. Pony rides are also available and sponsored by Farm Bureau Financial Services – Ann C. Williams Agency. Complete a Wizard of Oz x-ray guessing game, yellow brick road hopscotch, farm safety learning, and do some coloring and crafts with the Washington County Hospital and Clinics. Other kid’s activities throughout the day include, Visit the round barn from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. for hands-on agriculture learning through Little Hands on the Farm hosted by Ag in the Classroom. Visit the 4-H Hall from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for STEAM Adventures with robotics led by the EagleBots 4-H club. All kids, aged preschool through fifth grade, are welcome to come learn, and have fun.
