Wednesday, June 28th through Saturday, July 1st, Candy Land will come to life at the Washington Public Library. Families will get to “climb inside” the Candy Land board game and travel through the Peppermint Forest, Gloppy Swamp, and Lollipop Woods. KCII News spoke with Youth Services Librarian Jenisa Harris to learn more, “They can come anytime the Library is open, and the whole second level will be turned into Candy Land, you are literally walking through the game, and it is so much fun.” Candy Land is open during regular library hours and is free to participate in.
