Funeral services for 61-year-old Steven J. Batterson of Davenport will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11th, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Visiting hours will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 10 th , at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 –7:00 p.m. The family will also be present to receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will take place at the Cambrian Cemetery in rural Louisa County, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital or for the Daily Iowan Scholarship Fund.
