The Keota Eagles saw their softball season come to a close with a 12-0 defeat at Moravia Friday night in the first round of the Class 1A Region 8 playoffs. Seven runs in the first inning put Moravia in control of the game right away, and the Mohawks would go on to secure the win after four innings. Keota ends the season with a record of 0-17, but the Eagles have plenty to look forward to in the future with no graduating seniors.
