The City of Richland will kick off the fireworks displays in southeast Iowa this year, with their show on Sunday, July 2 at Alumni Park.

Leading up to the fireworks this year, the Rivals Food Truck will be offering refreshments beginning at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30, a performance from The Least Likely Band provides entertainment leading up to and continuing through the fireworks display.

Secretary/Treasurer for the Richland Community Club, Alisa Tolle, encourages all to attend and recognize the spirit of Independence Day. “I hope everyone really supports the Fourth of July and how our country came together with everybody who served for us to give us the freedoms that we have, and to have a safe and fabulous holiday.”

Fireworks in Richland begin at dusk, and are provided this year by Flashing Thunder out of Mitchell.
