A pair of Mid-Prairie senior girls golfers were honored for their work on the course and in the classroom this spring. Golden Hawks Alexa Huber and Kylie Reinier were named to this year’s Academic All-State team by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association. The pair were part of a Golden Hawk team that brought home a River Valley Conference championship, set the school record for best nine and 18 hole team scores at a tournament, won the regional opener and regional final tournaments, and took the program to back-to-back state tournament appearances for the first time in nearly a decade. The Hawks finished seventh in Class 2A at Marshalltown with a 751 team score, posting a 41-12 overall record.
