The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a date change for the public hearing regarding the McKains Grading Project to update the existing secondary road right-of-way known as Dogwood Avenue. Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius had this to say on the reason for the change. “We want to have that same hearing that was originally scheduled for the end of this month, but we want to move it back to August 22nd at the same time and location for the same reasons; we just need to adjust the date, so we can have some time in between to meet with the land owners.” The new date for the public hearing will be Tuesday, August 22nd, to be held at 9 am in the Supervisors Chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
