At approximately 12:05 pm on Friday, July 14th, the Washington Police Department was contacted by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office regarding a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle near mile marker 32, south of Center Point on I-380. The accident resulted in the death of 77-year-old Wayne Zieser. The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. No further information will be released.
