PAWS & More Animal Shelter in Washington will be holding a kitten shower tomorrow from noon to 4pm. With an approved adoption application, there will be no required adoption fee. However, if you would be willing to donate $35 when you adopt, that will cover the spay/neuter cost and would be appreciated. Canned cat food donations valued similarly would also be appreciated. KCII spoke with shelter Director Amber Talbot about the need for this event, “This is a busy year for the shelter, we get in so many little guys, the little unweaned or nursing kittens, and so, we get pretty overwhelmed with all of the youngsters in the summer.”  Kittens love to be socialized by meeting people and playing. Adopting a kitten is not required if you attend the shower. All are welcome to attend.
