Yesterday, the Washington County Riverboat Foundation announced the 2023 2nd quarter grants awards through its Municipal Grant Program. Two such awards were given to the Cities of Riverside and Ainsworth.

The City of Riverside will receive $24,526.85, while Ainsworth was awarded $10,079.54. Since its formation in 2006, WCRF has given $1,061,028.49 to Riverside and $577,974.49 to Ainsworth. Funds received by these cities will be programmed by their respective City Councils.

Each quarter, WCRF awards 25% of their total revenues directly to cities in Washington County based on population. With the $335,984.35 granted this quarter, the organization has now given $14,745,911.05 in total Municipal Grants. The Washington County Riverboat Foundation is the nonprofit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, which provides the entirety of its funding.
