The Sigourney Softball team is heading to state today. This is the sixth time in school history the Savages have made state and the second time in the last three seasons. They have a 26-4 overall record and were undefeated champions of the South Iowa Cedar League. They will play the #2 North Linn Lynx in the 1A State Quarterfinals at the Harlan Rodgers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge. The Lynx have a 36-6 overall record and were undefeated champions of the Tri-Rivers Conference.
