There were plenty of great individual performances on the baseball diamond for the Columbus/Winfield-Mount Union team, and the Southeast Iowa Super Conference recognized those players by giving the Wolves seven all-conference selections.

Sophomore Kohlby Newsom was a unanimous choice on the first team. The outfielder had a .390 batting average and scored 11 runs. Fellow sophomore Riley Kaalberg also makes the first team after posting a team-high .397 average with one double, one triple, 13 runs scored and 1o runs batted in. Junior Cole Milks is a first-team selection after hitting .352 with two triples, two home runs and 12 RBI.

Senior Grant Watson is named a second-team catcher after throwing out five runners attempting to steal a base. Senior Andrew Brown batted .275 with three doubles in his final season with Columbus/WMU and is a second-team infielder.

Wolves junior Cael Phillips also makes the second team as a utility player after tying the team high with 13 runs scored. Honorable mention goes to freshman pitcher Trevor Phillips, who had a 4.63 earned-run average and racked up 35 strikeouts in almost 23 innings on the mound.
