It was a big spring on the course for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf program, and they continue to see individual accolades to highlight their year. A pair of Golden Hawk girls golfers were named to the Class 2A, Region 4 All-Region Team by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Senior Kylie Reinier finished the year with a nine hole average of 50 and an 18 hole average of 94. In the postseason she shot an average of 90 across her four rounds. She fired an 89 in the regional opener to finish as individual runner up as the Hawks won the team title with a then school record score of 374. Reinier backed that up with another 89 in the regional final at Williamsburg where the Hawks reset the school record with a team score of 367 and qualified for state for the second consecutive year as regional champs. At state in Marshalltown, Reinier finished 19th individually with a 181 total for her two days including a second day 18 of 88.

Junior Gabi Robertson finished the year with a nine hole average of 46, best on the team, an 18 hole average of 98 and a postseason average of 92. In the first round of regionals she posted a 92 to finish third individually while the team won the title. During the regional final championship run, Robertson carded an 87 for medalist runner-up honors as the Hawks scored a spot at state. While at state in Marshalltown, she went 101 and 92 in her two days to finish 34th overall.

The Golden Hawks qualified for state in back-to-back seasons for the first time in 13 years, finishing with an overall record of 41-12.
