Freshman phenom Rowan Miller made his presence known on the big stage in his first year with the Hillcrest Academy Raven boys golf team. Miller secured a spot on the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association Boys Class 1A All-State Tournament team. Miller, a second team selection went 81 and 75 on his two days at state in Ames, for a 156, finishing in a seventh place tie. He posted 43 and 81, nine and 18 hole averages this season for Hillcrest.

The Ravens brought home the Class 1A State Team Championship, their first in school history, capping an undefeated dream season with a title.
