The Washington Demons were led by their veteran players this past baseball season, and four of the Demons’ upperclassmen were honored by other coaches in the Southeast Conference by making the all-conference teams for leading by example.

Senior Ethan Patterson is a first-team infielder for a third straight season. The shortstop led Washington with a .329 batting average and 25 hits, including five doubles and a triple, on his way to 14 runs scored and nine stolen bases. Fellow senior Isaac Vetter also makes the first team as a utility player. As a hitter, Vetter had a career-high .311 average and scored 12 runs, while the right-hander also put up a 4.83 earned-run average in just over 33 innings pitched.

Junior infielder Luke Beenblossom earns honorable-mention status after he hit .241 with six doubles, the Demons’ only home run of the season, 12 runs batted in and a team-high 17 runs scored. Junior catcher Caleb Zieglowsky also receives an honorable mention after batting .243 with a team-high 14 RBI.
